Greece-based Studio NL’s Athanasia Leivaditou has come up with a simple solution to the umbrella entanglement problem. The Umbrella-Coat, a recent recipient of a Silver A’Design Award in Fashion and Jewellery Design, combines a raincoat, an umbrella and waterproof trousers."

“Depending on the weather conditions and the amount of rain it can be adjusted to different protections,” explains the designer’s website.
A simple yet perfect urban design solution that would also help to eliminate the millions of cheaply made umbrellas that end up in the landfill after being destroyed during bad weather.
In my opinion this does not really help the environment at all and it is awkward and would get in the way. That just me though
